Cost Estimator – Construction Projects

About the role

Join a leading real‑estate company as a Cost Estimator and support the central costing department with your strong construction background. You will work closely with Construction Project Management teams, providing expert advice on CAPEX measures, renovations, and tenant improvements across commercial and hospitality assets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review cost calculations for new builds, renovations, and tenant fit‑outs.
• Identify and analyse cost‑optimisation opportunities in ongoing projects.
• Develop and continuously improve a cross‑team cost database.
• Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate budgeting.

Required profile

• Completed studies in civil engineering, architecture, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification, or equivalent professional experience.
• Several years of experience in construction cost calculation, especially in cost groups 300 and 400 (building in existing structures).
• Solution‑oriented, pragmatic work style with strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent German language skills and good English proficiency.

Required skills

• Proficient use of MS Office.
• Experience with calculation software such as ORCA, California, and BKI.
