Country Communications Specialist – Digital & Internal Communications

About the role

As a Country Communications Specialist you will shape ABB Germany’s digital and internal communications landscape. Working closely with the Country Communications Manager, you will ensure that the company’s messages are consistent, engaging and aligned with ABB’s global brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage ABB Germany’s digital and internal communication channels, including website, social media, intranet, Viva Engage and infoscreens.
• Keep content up‑to‑date, compliant and adapted to local requirements while maintaining brand consistency.
• Create, localise and distribute content for employee and external audiences on corporate and reputation‑relevant topics.
• Publish content, track channel performance and continuously optimise digital platforms.
• Advise internal stakeholders on suitable communication channels, formats and audience engagement strategies.
• Support reputation management, cross‑functional collaboration and related administrative activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in digital communications, social media, web management or internal communications.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills in German; good command of English.
• Strong collaboration, project‑management and analytical abilities.
