Data Analyst – Fraud & Financial Crime

About the role

We are looking for an organized, self‑motivated Data Analyst with deep expertise in causal inference, experimentation, and statistical research. The role is embedded in the Banking Foundations (Customer Risk Lifecycle) team and will help shape one of the world’s leading FinTech products.

Key responsibilities

• Define clear, measurable targets for initiatives and improve forecasting and goal‑setting capabilities.
• Act as the internal go‑to person for data‑related questions across product and business teams.
• Design and execute product experiments, develop test plans, and deliver actionable insights.
• Build and maintain dashboards that track weekly progress against company OKRs.
• Contribute to a self‑serve data platform by collaborating with engineers to create analytics foundations.
• Educate teams through training and workshops to foster a data‑driven culture.
• Collaborate with analytics teams across N26 to share platforms, insights, and innovations.

Required profile

• Strong background in statistics, research methods, and causal inference/experimental design.
• Experience working in cross‑functional teams with analysts, engineers, designers, and product managers.
• Ability to translate complex analysis into clear documentation and empathetic communication.
