Data Center Technician (Electrical) – Frankfurt

About the role

We are seeking a Data Center Technician with a strong electrical background to join our operations team in Frankfurt. The role involves ensuring the safe and reliable operation of critical data‑center infrastructure in a fast‑paced, 24/7 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce safety standards, issue work permits and coordinate contractor activities on site.
• Monitor and manage contractors, ensuring compliance with schedules and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical and mechanical systems, including UPS, generators and cooling equipment.
• Use BMS/EPMS tools and physical walkthroughs to monitor system performance.
• Support day‑to‑day operations by troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.

Required profile

• Electrical qualification (training, certification or equivalent diploma).
• Hands‑on experience with electrical or mechanical equipment such as cabling, assembly and troubleshooting.
• Safety‑first mindset and ability to work onsite in a high‑tempo environment.
• Demonstrated behaviours aligned with delivering results, earning trust and bias for action.

Required skills

• Electrical qualification (training, certification or diploma).
• Hands‑on experience with electrical equipment (cabling, assembly, troubleshooting).
• Knowledge of UPS systems, generators and cooling infrastructure.
• Familiarity with BMS/EPMS monitoring tools.
