Data Center Technician – Full‑time – Eygelshoven, NL

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Data Center Technician to join our team at the Eygelshoven site. You will work directly with server hardware, manage inventory and support our on‑site warehouse while collaborating with remote engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble new servers (primarily Supermicro) and service HPE blade systems.
• Perform hardware repairs and component replacements such as CPUs, RAM, motherboards and blades.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation of all hardware and parts.
• Manage the on‑site warehouse, including stock handling and material flow.
• Execute basic Juniper switch setup and configuration.
• Coordinate with on‑site data‑center technicians and the 2nd/3rd level team in Münster via Slack for remote hands, troubleshooting and status updates.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with server hardware assembly, swaps and repairs (junior candidates welcome).
• Solid fundamentals in Debian Linux.
• Basic familiarity with Proxmox virtualization.
• Structured, reliable approach to inventory and documentation.
• Valid Class B driver’s licence and ability to move between sites.
• Good internal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Juniper switches and basic English or German is a plus.
