Data Specialist (Remote, Germany)

About the role

This fully remote position is based in Germany and focuses on owning and evolving end‑to‑end data infrastructure, analytics, and reporting. You will enable data‑driven decision‑making by building reliable pipelines, designing scalable dashboards, and ensuring the accuracy of business‑critical reports.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise data pipelines and data‑warehouse systems using ETL tools such as Stitch and Google BigQuery.
• Design, build and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions with Looker Studio.
• Implement and monitor Google Analytics (GA4), including event tracking and validation.
• Execute rigorous data validation and QA processes to guarantee reporting accuracy.
• Proactively monitor data flows, detect anomalies and apply corrective actions.
• Develop custom, on‑demand reports for cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborate with engineering and stakeholders to improve data architecture and tracking systems.
• Maintain documentation, task tracking and structured workflows using tools like Trello and Slack.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Data Analyst, Data Specialist or similar analytics role.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to detect trends, anomalies and actionable insights.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Clear communication skills for distributed team collaboration.
