Delivery Operations

About the role

JD Logistics is seeking a Delivery Operations professional to drive efficiency across its end‑to‑end delivery network. The role focuses on process optimisation, capacity management and ensuring high delivery performance for customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse delivery‑link processes (collection, in‑transit, handover, successful delivery) and develop standardized operating norms.
• Optimise route planning and resource scheduling to improve delivery efficiency, on‑time rate and reduce operating costs.
• Coordinate carrier and self‑operated capacity resources, create scheduling plans, monitor usage and optimise personnel and vehicle configurations.
• Monitor core indicators such as delivery timeliness, on‑time rate and cargo damage rate; establish risk‑early‑warning mechanisms.
• Handle order exceptions, customer complaints and emergencies, and develop contingency plans to maintain delivery quality.
• Establish carrier assessment systems, conduct regular inspections, evaluate operational quality and provide training.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate and standardise delivery processes.
• Experience in capacity planning, resource coordination and logistics scheduling.
• Ability to monitor performance metrics in real time and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Proven problem‑solving capability for handling exceptions and customer issues.
• Experience working with carriers, conducting assessments and delivering training.
