Demand Planner – Strategic Forecasting Role

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and analytical Demand Planner to lead our forecasting efforts. In this role you will translate complex data into accurate demand forecasts that drive inventory optimization, support growth initiatives, and keep the business running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain sophisticated demand forecasts using statistical models and market intelligence.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance to gather inputs and create a unified forecast.
• Improve forecast accuracy and process efficiency through rigorous analysis.
• Participate actively in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, aligning demand, supply, and financial goals.
• Lead demand planning in ambiguous environments, making informed decisions under uncertainty.
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven track record of improving forecast accuracy.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP or Oracle.
• Proficiency in forecasting and inventory planning tools.
• Strong analytical and statistical modeling abilities.
