Demand Planning Manager – Hamburg

About the role

Thai Union Germany is looking for a Demand Planning Manager to join its Hamburg team. Reporting to the Senior Department Manager for Ambient Branded Demand Planning & Customer Supply Chain, you will be responsible for accurate demand forecasting and aligning supply chain activities with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end demand planning process and ensure reliable forecasts.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and S&OP teams to align demand drivers and promotional activities.
• Support the rollout of the FuturMaster statistical forecasting tool.
• Drive continuous improvement of forecast accuracy, bias and error reduction.
• Work with Supply Chain and Global S&OP teams to resolve constraints and inform supply planning decisions.
• Provide clear insights and recommendations for business decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven demand planning experience, preferably in FMCG or consumer products.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting methodologies and statistical modelling.
• Experience with demand planning systems and handling large data sets.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable business actions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to align cross‑functional teams.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented with strong ownership and accountability.
• Fluent German and good English communication skills.
