Desktop Support Engineer – Stuttgart

About the role

BlupaceTech is looking for a proactive Desktop Support Engineer to join its German team in Stuttgart. You will be the first point of contact for end‑users, delivering first‑ and second‑line support for hardware, software and network issues while ensuring a smooth IT experience across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑line support via phone, email, remote tools and on‑site visits.
• Install, configure and maintain PCs, laptops, printers, monitors and other peripherals.
• Create and manage user accounts, groups and permissions in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Deploy, image and manage devices using SCCM, Intune or equivalent tools.
• Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office and third‑party applications.
• Record incidents, service requests and asset inventory in ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.
• Support hardware refresh cycles, decommissioning and secure data disposal.
• Assist with onboarding and off‑boarding of users and equipment.
• Escalate complex issues to infrastructure and security teams and contribute to problem‑management processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of desktop or IT support experience in a corporate environment.
• Strong customer focus and ability to take ownership from first contact to resolution.
• Fluent German (B1/B2 minimum) and good English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior technicians.

Required skills

• Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
• Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook).
• Active Directory, Group Policy and Azure AD/Entra ID.
• SCCM, Intune or comparable endpoint management tools.
• ServiceNow or Jira Service Management ticketing systems.
• Hardware troubleshooting and imaging of PCs/laptops.
