Detail Designer – Automotive Interior & Exterior

About the role

AVATR Global Design Center is seeking a Detail Designer to join its international design team in Munich. The role sits at the crossroads of interior, exterior, and brand innovation, contributing to cutting‑edge automotive projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 2D and 3D concepts for interior, exterior and brand‑related innovations.
• Translate creative ideas into detailed design solutions that meet functional requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Interior, Exterior, UX/UI, C&M, Studio Engineering and CAS.
• Focus primarily on automotive interior details while supporting other departments as needed.
• Create artistic presentations for senior management and conduct trend research.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automotive, Industrial, Transportation Design or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of automotive detail design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Strong attention to detail, user‑experience focus and ability to apply cultural insights.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Photoshop, Blender and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Figma, Alias and VRed; familiarity with emerging AI design tools is a plus.
• Strong 2D and 3D digital modeling capabilities.
