Development and Integration Engineer for MEMS & ASIC BEOL technology

About the role

We are expanding our MEMS and ASIC BEOL technology to 300 mm wafers and need a technology‑driven engineer who enjoys linking different technologies and turning complexity into manufacturable solutions. The Development and Integration Engineer will lead innovative technology development and act as a bridge between development and manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and control innovative technology developments for complex sensor products, focusing on integration, scheduling and customer interface.
• Implement development goals together with a team of integrators and experts, combining technology know‑how with manufacturing expertise.
• Develop semiconductor processes for sensor manufacturing and evaluate new technologies and materials from technical and economic perspectives.
• Coordinate internal interfaces across development sections and manufacturing to bring solutions from concept to series production.
• Manage quality assessments and process releases to ensure high standards.
• Collaborate with research institutes for basic development and foundational progress.

Required profile

• Self‑initiated, assertive, creative, strong team player and goal‑oriented.
• Systematic, proactive and resilient working style.
• Multiple years of relevant professional experience with very good knowledge of sensor, micromechanics and semiconductor technology.
• Very good English and proficient German language skills.
• Completed university studies (Master/Diploma/PhD) in engineering, natural sciences, physics, chemistry, material sciences or comparable qualification.
