DevOps & Developer Infrastructure Engineer (Contract, Munich)

About the role

This position is for a hands‑on DevOps and Developer Infrastructure Engineer joining an agile Scrum team in Munich. You will work on secure communications products, writing code, building CI/CD pipelines and automating releases within a regulated software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Docker and CMake.
• Write Python scripts to automate build and release processes.
• Collaborate with other development teams to share CI/CD best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and drive continuous improvement of the toolchain.
• Monitor technology trends and propose enhancements to the development environment.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent.
• Several years of professional experience in software development and DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
• Negotiation‑level German (C1/C2) and English (B2+).
• EU or NATO member‑state nationality.
