DevOps Engineer – Cloud & CI/CD Automation

About the role

Statista is seeking a DevOps Engineer to maintain and scale the hosting environment for client‑facing dashboards and production applications. You will own uptime, security, monitoring and incident response while driving automation of CI/CD pipelines and supporting AI‑driven workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and scale hosting infrastructure for dashboards and production apps.
• Own system uptime, security, monitoring, alerting and incident response.
• Design and automate CI/CD pipelines, repository management and deployment workflows.
• Support frontend deployments (React/Next.js) and collaborate on architecture decisions.
• Build and maintain infrastructure for agent‑based AI workflows, including orchestration, containerization and scaling.
• Enable and manage integrations between large language models, APIs and backend systems.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services and Infrastructure‑as‑Code.
• Proven ability to design and automate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with frontend deployment pipelines and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools such as CloudWatch and Datadog.
• Ownership mindset for system reliability and incident response.
