DevOps Engineer

About the role

The Development Bank is looking for a DevOps Engineer to own and evolve its source code management, build, and deployment pipelines. You will drive CI/CD implementation across cloud and hybrid environments, creating a modern, scalable developer workspace. The role combines hands‑on engineering with strategic guidance for tooling and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins and Nexus.
• Develop and enhance a cloud‑native “Developer Workspace” solution.
• Support and evolve the source‑code‑management strategy across multiple technology stacks.
• Integrate container platforms such as Kubernetes and OpenShift into deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure reliable, automated releases.

Required profile

• Completed degree in IT, Telecommunications or equivalent qualification.
• Several years of professional experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Experience in Java/Web environments and public/enterprise cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in German and English for effective communication.
