Digital Project Manager – Software Consulting

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Digital Project Manager to lead client engagements from the first conversation through to final delivery. This role blends strong product instincts with hands‑on project leadership, ensuring that digital solutions are built to solve the right business problems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple client projects across various industries and time zones, keeping scope, timelines, and budgets on track.
• Define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria together with clients at the start of each engagement.
• Lead discovery workshops, ask critical questions, and translate business needs into actionable requirements.
• Break down complex requirements into manageable iterations for the engineering team.
• Maintain project documentation, backlogs, and roadmaps to keep all stakeholders aligned.
• Run Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Provide regular, clear updates to clients on status, risks, and decisions.
• Scope and price new engagements, contribute to proposals, and support the presales process.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and QA to ensure delivered features meet client expectations and real user needs.
• Monitor project health using KPIs and flag risks early.
• Test completed features to verify they meet agreed requirements before delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of project management experience in a digital agency environment.
• Hands‑on experience with presales activities, including writing proposals, scoping projects, and running discovery workshops.
• Strong understanding of digital product development and a product‑management mindset.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
• Comfort challenging client requirements and advocating for solutions that solve the actual business problem.
• Fluent English (C1 level or above) with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Based in the United States or Canada with the ability to work across US and European time zones.

Required skills

• Agile methodology (scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Project and product management tools such as Jira, Notion, Linear, or similar.
• Experience writing user stories and managing backlogs.
