Director Communications

About the role

Honeywell is seeking a Director of Communications to lead brand storytelling for internal and external audiences in Germany and, as needed, across continental Europe. Reporting to the Senior Director of Communications for LATAM, Europe and the Middle East, the role partners closely with the Regional President and regional communications leader.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a holistic internal and external communications strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Create regional media programs linked to industry trends and performance goals.
• Design and implement executive positioning strategies for the Regional President and country executives.
• Guide message development, localization, and content creation to connect employees with strategic initiatives.
• Maintain and leverage media contacts across business, financial, political, and industrial press in Germany.
• Lead integrated communications programs for key events and external platforms.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a communications counsel to senior executives and hands‑on execution across the communications spectrum.
• Strong editorial standards in both English and German, with proven ability to manage shifting priorities.
• Deep understanding of political, economic, and technological shifts in Germany and Europe.
• Demonstrated success in mapping industry stories to market relevance.

Required skills

• Fluent written and verbal communication in English and German.
• Expertise in message development, localization, and content creation.
• Extensive media relations experience within Germany’s business, financial, political, and industrial sectors.
