Director – Consumer Products Transformation

About the role

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Director to lead transformation and performance‑improvement initiatives for consumer‑products clients across Germany. You will work closely with senior client leadership to translate strategy into actionable solutions that drive sustainable EBITDA growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end transformation, turnaround and performance‑improvement projects for consumer‑products companies.
• Partner with CEOs, Boards and senior management to define priorities and implement company‑wide efficiency enhancements.
• Translate strategic objectives into pragmatic, results‑oriented recommendations and ensure successful execution.
• Deliver measurable top‑ and bottom‑line impact while addressing critical business challenges.
• Contribute to thought leadership and raise the profile of the Consumer and Retail Group internally and with clients.

Required profile

• Excellent university degree with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• 10+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a global consulting or corporate transformation environment.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale, cross‑functional projects for upper‑mid‑size to international corporations.
• Ability to work directly with senior client executives and influence decision‑making.
