Director, FP&A

About the role

sennder, Europe’s leading digital freight forwarder, is looking for a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to own the Group’s budgeting, forecasting and financial insight processes. You will act as a trusted strategic partner to the CFO and executive team while leading a senior FP&A team.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Group‑wide annual budget cycle and 15‑month rolling forecast, integrating P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow planning.
• Drive rigorous forecasting methodology and align top‑down targets with bottom‑up operational inputs.
• Lead scenario planning, sensitivity analysis and prepare investor and Board reporting.
• Deliver month‑end variance analysis and management reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Partner with Regional GMs, Commercial, Operations and People teams to align financial and operational performance.
• Design and maintain KPI frameworks and track value‑creation initiatives.
• Improve FP&A processes, tooling and automation, including Power BI dashboards, Planful and NetSuite integrations.
• Champion data quality, financial control discipline and support ERP/BI evolution.
• Lead, develop and inspire a high‑performing senior FP&A team.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including leadership in a complex, international environment.
• Proven track record of owning full budget and forecast cycles at Group level in a fast‑growing or PE‑backed business.
• Experience partnering directly with CFO and C‑suite stakeholders.
• Background in tech‑enabled logistics, marketplace or scale‑up businesses preferred.
• Advanced financial modelling skills with strong command of P&L, cash‑flow and multi‑entity consolidation.
