Director of Corporate Development

About the role

The Director of Corporate Development will shape BMG’s strategic direction, working closely with the Board, senior leadership, and cross‑functional teams. You will drive corporate strategy, partnerships, M&A, and AI initiatives to position BMG as an industry innovator.

Key responsibilities

• Develop corporate strategy aligned with senior leadership vision through deep market, trend, and competitor analysis.
• Own execution of strategic initiatives, translating strategy into action and organizational change with international teams.
• Lead the development and application of AI technologies across global teams.
• Drive M&A and business development from opportunity sourcing to financial, strategic, and commercial assessment.
• Manage partnership and business development activities, from networking to recommendation and implementation.
• Prepare materials for regular committee meetings on market developments and BMG priorities.
• Produce ad‑hoc analyses and insights to support senior leadership decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in top‑tier strategy consulting or a high‑impact corporate strategy role.
• Master’s degree in business administration, economics, or a comparable field from a reputable university.
• Strong analytical and problem‑structuring skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; German is a plus.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders without formal authority.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, high autonomy, and robust organizational capabilities.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.
