Dishwasher – Berlin Café

About the role

Join the Hard Rock Cafe team in Berlin as a Dishwasher. While you won’t interact directly with guests, your work is essential to keeping the kitchen running smoothly and supporting the overall guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine, ensuring all dishes, glassware, and utensils are cleaned to standard.
• Receive, label, date, and store pre‑prepared items, maintaining proper inventory rotation.
• Perform opening, closing, and side duties, including setting up and breaking down kitchen stations.
• Keep the kitchen, line, expo, dish room, and back dock clean, organized, and compliant with safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with basic food preparation, stock products, recycle where possible, and assemble orders as needed.
• Communicate professionally with front‑of‑house staff and act as a liaison between kitchen and service areas.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 100‑lb containers and stand or move for 8+ hours.
• Well‑groomed appearance and adherence to uniform guidelines.
• Calm under pressure, highly organized, and detail‑oriented.
• Positive, friendly attitude toward teammates and guests.

Required skills

• Dish machine operation.
• Use of Kitchen Display System for order tracking.
