Disponent Flight Department (f/m/d)

About the role

The Flight Department Dispatcher will coordinate and monitor all short‑ and long‑haul flights of our company‑owned aircraft fleet. This fixed‑term position (up to two years) supports safe, efficient, and customer‑focused operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external parties such as the technical department, crew, service providers, and handling agents to optimise aircraft utilisation.
• Organise aircraft schedules, prioritising passenger requests while complying with economic and legal requirements.
• Advise on passenger flight requests, assess feasibility, and propose alternatives when needed.
• Schedule crew in line with operational needs, flight‑duty limits and rest regulations.
• Record and process flight data in the central flight‑booking system.
• Calculate flight routes, prepare crew documentation and manage slot situations to ensure on‑time performance.
• Arrange travel logistics, including hotel accommodation for aircrew and staff.

Required profile

• Professional training or university degree, preferably in business, tourism or aviation.
• Reliability check (ZÜP) completed.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a general‑aviation flight department (advantageous).
• Ability to handle complex tasks and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Fluent German and English.

Required skills

• Very good IT skills, especially MS Office.
• Experience with dedicated flight‑booking software applications.
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR).
