Electrical Engineer – Electronic Warfare (All Genders)

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer specialized in Electronic Warfare to join our Berlin R&D team. You will lead the design, development, integration and testing of advanced RF hardware that equips our autonomous platforms with decisive over‑match capabilities in contested environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end board design using Altium Designer, applying High‑Density Interconnect (HDI) techniques and routing high‑frequency interfaces.
• Design, simulate and implement custom RF components and matching networks for contested scenarios.
• Perform antenna design and placement simulations with CST Studio Suite and Altair FEKO to optimise system‑level RF performance.
• Own mechanical packaging and electro‑mechanical design of boards, ensuring seamless hardware‑software integration.
• Define and execute testing, debugging and validation protocols to guarantee stability and survivability of the hardware.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in electronic, RF or hardware systems development.
• Hands‑on expertise with Altium Designer, HDI board design, complex layer stacks and high‑speed/high‑frequency signal integrity.
• Proven ability to design matching networks and simulate RF components using CST and/or Altair FEKO.
• Strong understanding of how individual RF components affect overall system architecture.
• Self‑starter attitude, comfortable working in a fast‑paced, small‑team environment.
• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical, Electronic or related engineering discipline.
