Electrical Engineer for OLED Vacuum Systems

About the role

Applied Materials is a global leader in materials engineering solutions. We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Alzenau, Germany, supporting the design and development of advanced OLED Vacuum Systems. In this role you will contribute to the design, testing, and implementation of electrical systems and components within cutting‑edge semiconductor equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Design or modify electrical or electronic engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, drawings or specifications of moderate scope under general supervision.
• Perform basic engineering analysis under general supervision.
• Generate basic engineering test reports and related alpha/gamma documentation for product releases.
• Coordinate procurement and assembly of electrical or electronic components, identifying sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve technical issues.
• Troubleshoot a variety of moderately complex electrical problems.
• Implement concepts for product issues and electrical solutions of moderate difficulty.
• Assist in the development of electrical product specifications.
• Clearly communicate complex information in straightforward situations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to explain complex information to others.
