Electrical Engineering – Data Centres (Relocation to Frankfurt)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced electrical engineer to join a global consultancy and lead data‑centre and mission‑critical projects in Frankfurt, Europe’s leading data‑centre hub. The role combines technical authority with client‑facing responsibilities, offering a chance to influence design and delivery without a fixed senior title.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex electrical design and delivery for high‑availability data‑centre environments.
• Develop power distribution, resilience, redundancy, standby generation and UPS solutions.
• Act as senior technical point of contact for clients throughout project stages.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across UK and German standards.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers while expanding personal commercial capability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data‑centre or mission‑critical electrical design (LV/MV distribution, resilience, standby power).
• Strong background in consulting engineering within the UK or EU.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Willingness to relocate to Frankfurt with relocation support.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with clients.
