Electrical Systems Installation Designer (d/f/m)

About the role

Airbus Operations GmbH is seeking an Electrical Systems Installation Designer to join the Electrical System Installation Team for harness design on the Single Aisle Program. You will work on the extended long‑range version (XLR) of the A321, cabin upgrades, and new design concepts using the CAPITAL and PASS tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design and validate electrical harnesses and equipment installations from architecture through detailed design to manufacturing support and in‑service activities.
• Create and deliver drawing‑sets in line with aircraft program planning.
• Manage engineering changes, late inflows, and manufacturing non‑conformities to ensure timely implementation.
• Act as Configuration Item (CI) Responsible, preparing and checking definition dossiers in quality after gaining sufficient experience.
• Coordinate technical alignments with System Design, Production, and other related departments.
• Support modification processes and attest manufacturing non‑conformities.
• Contribute to defining requirements for design infrastructure, methods, and tools in cross‑functional digital projects.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering background in electrical systems or aerospace.
• Experience with aircraft electrical harness design and documentation.
• Ability to manage engineering changes and work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong attention to detail and quality compliance.
