Electrical Test Engineer (f/m/d)

About the role

Join Phlair’s fast‑growing team to develop and execute test plans for the electrochemical stack of a 260 tCO₂/year Direct Air Capture demonstrator. You will work on‑site in Ismaning, collaborating closely with the CSO and the broader R&D group to ensure the technology meets performance and safety targets.

Key responsibilities

• Design and run test protocols for the electrochemical stack, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Set up, maintain, and qualify test infrastructure, including high‑voltage wiring and data acquisition systems.
• Analyse test data, produce clear reports, and communicate results to the development team.
• Adapt quickly to evolving project needs, working autonomously and contributing to rapid iteration cycles.

Required profile

• M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience designing and conducting electrical or electrochemical test protocols.
• Strong data‑analysis skills and ability to present results clearly.
• Methodical, detail‑oriented approach with a troubleshooting mindset.
• Comfortable with high‑intensity work schedules, including long days and weekend sprints.

Required skills

• LabVIEW scripting for test automation.
• Matlab for data processing.
• Python programming.
• R‑Studio for statistical analysis.
• Formal qualification in high‑voltage DC/AC electronics.
