Engineering Manager – Platform / DevEx

About the role

AVIV Group treats developer experience as a product, building platforms, tools, and workflows that enable engineering teams to deliver value quickly and reliably. As a hands‑on Engineering Manager you will lead a small, high‑impact platform team responsible for evolving the internal developer platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop internal platform services, tooling, and frameworks using C#.NET Core, TypeScript and Node.js.
• Build reusable libraries, SDKs, and golden‑path CI/CD, IaC, and workflow solutions.
• Drive adoption of self‑service capabilities that let teams deploy and operate services in minutes.
• Lead and mentor a team of 3‑5 engineers, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Define and execute the platform vision and roadmap aligned to developer needs.
• Partner with product, DevOps, security, and QA to streamline workflows and reduce dependencies.
• Identify friction points across the developer journey and implement high‑impact improvements.

Required profile

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on platform engineering or developer experience.
• Previous experience as a Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, or Engineering Manager in high‑performing teams.
• Proven track record of building internal platforms, developer tooling, or reusable services.
• Strong product mindset and ability to balance delivery, quality, and team wellbeing.
