Enterprise Account Executive (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a strategic closer who thrives on building high‑impact relationships and securing large enterprise contracts. You will work with our multi‑suite security and compliance portfolio, helping customers accelerate certification and strengthen risk posture.

Key responsibilities

• Position DataGuard’s solutions to C‑suite executives and key decision‑makers, driving growth in the enterprise segment.
• Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and ensure smooth hand‑off to Customer Success.
• Develop strategic account plans for large organisations, uncovering high‑value expansion opportunities.
• Adopt a hunter mentality with a consultative, multi‑touch approach to generate leads and build a strong pipeline.
• Accurately forecast ARR and provide visibility into the sales pipeline.
• Consistently exceed individual quota and advance quickly within the sales career ladder.

Required profile

• University degree in business, economics, marketing or a comparable field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in B2B SaaS sales targeting enterprise or mid‑market customers.
• Proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales quotas.
• Strong outbound lead‑generation skills.
• Ability to engage business leaders and functional managers using the MEDDIC methodology.
• Analytical mindset, proactive attitude and confident demeanor.
• Team player eager to learn and share knowledge.
• Native‑level German and fluent English.
