Equipment Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for an entry‑level Equipment Maintenance Technician to join JD.com’s automation logistics team. The role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting sorting and conveyor equipment in a fast‑paced, high‑tech environment. Fresh graduates with a solid mechanical/electrical foundation are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, preventive maintenance, and servicing of sorting logistics and automation equipment such as conveyor systems and sorting machines.
• Respond quickly to equipment failures, conduct on‑site troubleshooting, and carry out repairs to minimise downtime.
• Record maintenance activities, develop preventive maintenance plans, and support equipment optimisation initiatives.
• Follow safety procedures rigorously and implement equipment safety management requirements.
• Develop and manage spare‑parts inventories.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation or a related field.
• No prior work experience required; recent graduates are welcome.
• Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English for vendor communication and on‑site coordination.
