European Project Director – Data Centre MEP Delivery

About the role

This is a rare opportunity to lead the European delivery function for a fast‑growing international MEP contractor operating in the data centre sector. Based in Frankfurt, you will shape and expand the company’s delivery capability across Europe, starting with a flagship data centre project.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the European delivery function for data centre projects, beginning with the Frankfurt site.
• Own project delivery and commercial performance across the region, including P&L, contracts and margin.
• Act as the senior client interface, supporting bid strategy, winning work and growing existing accounts.
• Build and structure multidisciplinary teams covering project management, commercial, and site delivery.
• Drive standards, processes and consistency across all European projects.
• Oversee large‑scale MEP packages while maintaining a strategic view of multiple programmes.
• Support pre‑construction activities, bid preparation and client engagement.
• Manage senior internal and external stakeholders and play a key role in scaling the business across Europe.

Required profile

• Proven background as a Senior Project Manager, Project Director, Contracts Manager or Business Unit Lead in MEP or mission‑critical environments.
• Strong experience delivering data centre or large‑scale MEP projects.
• Commercially astute with ownership of P&L, contracts and margin.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable operating in a fast‑growth environment where structures are still being built.
• Excellent client‑facing skills, preferably with a track record of winning or expanding work.
• Willingness to be based in Frankfurt or work on a rotation schedule if travelling from outside Germany.
