European Sales Director

About the role

Our client, a specialist manufacturer of converted vehicles, is seeking an experienced European Sales Director to drive a major expansion across continental Europe. The role will build on an established presence and accelerate growth in Germany, France, Spain, Italy and emerging markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a pan‑European growth strategy.
• Drive sales performance across Germany, France, Spain, Italy and other target markets.
• Build and manage dealer, distributor and strategic partner networks.
• Establish new country operations and regional offices.
• Recruit, lead and develop commercial teams across Europe.
• Deliver ambitious revenue and market‑share targets.
• Represent the group at international events, trade shows and industry forums.
• Develop relationships with mobility providers, vehicle distributors, healthcare organisations, government agencies and fleet operators.

Required profile

• Proven success as a European Sales Director, Commercial Director, Managing Director, Country Manager or International Business Development Director.
• Significant experience leading sales operations across multiple European countries.
• Track record of opening new markets, establishing offices and building high‑performing sales teams.
• Strong strategic and commercial leadership capability.
• Background in automotive, specialist vehicles, mobility solutions, accessibility products, healthcare transport or related sectors.
• Fluent in English and preferably one additional European language (German, French, Spanish, Italian).
