Event Technician (m/f/d) - Warehouse Operations

About the role

RIEDEL Communications supplies live production tools for media, sports and entertainment, and its Managed Technology division provides rental solutions for audio, video, IT and communications equipment used at major events such as Formula 1, the Super Bowl and Rock am Ring. As Event Technician (m/f/d) - Warehouse Operations, you will keep the logistics and warehouse processes running smoothly while preparing and handling event technology. This is a hands-on, warehouse-focused position.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations including order picking, packaging, goods receipt, storage preparation and shipment coordination
• Ensure proper shipment packaging, process returns efficiently and support timely deliveries to customers and project sites
• Design, supervise and program technical solutions and equipment in line with the Managed Technology Core Workflow
• Prepare, configure and support the implementation of technical equipment, with troubleshooting and technical reporting and occasional on-site support
• Maintain CRM and ERP systems through accurate data entry and booking monitoring
• Carry out inventory checks, support annual stocktaking and operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and conveyors
• Collaborate with colleagues, customers and external partners on national and international projects

Required profile

• Vocational training or equivalent experience in logistics, commercial operations, events, entertainment or warehouse management
• Hands-on, proactive mindset with a strong can-do attitude
• Technical affinity or interest in electronics and event technology
• Organised, process-oriented and able to communicate across cultures and teams
• Open to occasional national and international travel for on-site event support
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage
