Facilities Manager

About the role

The company is expanding its presence in Germany and seeks a Facilities Manager to lead workplace experience, facility operations and health & safety at its new Frankfurt site. You will build and manage a local workplace team while ensuring a safe, professional, and productive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own workplace experience and facilities operations for the Frankfurt location.
• Recruit, train, coach, and lead a local workplace team (both contract and full‑time).
• Manage third‑party custodial vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain top‑tier facility standards.
• Oversee vendor contracts, onboarding, insurance coordination, and performance monitoring.
• Design and implement a preventative maintenance program to ensure reliable operations.
• Handle administrative functions such as mail, calendars, food & beverage, office supplies, and employee services.
• Serve as primary contact for candidates, colleagues, and visitors on‑site.
• Lead continuous improvement projects with Operations, IT/Network, and Security teams.
• Act as Safety Lead, contributing to health & safety initiatives and managing safety compliance.
• Manage facilities equipment vendors to maintain secure and operational environments.
• Coordinate internal customer tickets via the ticketing platform, ensuring timely resolution.

Required profile

• 5+ years of management experience, including at least 3 years in corporate workplace environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven leadership ability to inspire, motivate, and drive change across an organization.
• Excellent collaboration, team‑player attitude, and dependable work ethic.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, capable of developing realistic action plans in a dynamic setting.
