Finance Analyst – FP&A (Hybrid, Berlin)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Analyst with a focus on FP&A to join a fast‑growing energy scale‑up in Berlin. The role is hybrid, offering the chance to influence strategic decisions, improve financial performance and support rapid company growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own and support budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning processes.
• Build, maintain and enhance complex financial models for strategic and operational decisions.
• Deliver insightful financial analysis and performance reports to senior stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted finance business partner across all departments.
• Drive automation initiatives and continuously improve financial planning, reporting and internal processes.
• Develop scalable reporting tools, dashboards and KPIs to boost business performance.
• Support investment decisions, business cases and strategic projects with data‑driven insights.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to align teams on financial objectives.

Required profile

• Experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial analysis, transaction services, investment banking or management consulting.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Background in a fast‑growing, scale‑up or high‑performance environment is highly desirable.
• Passion for automation, process optimisation and building scalable finance functions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with strong commercial acumen.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to make an impact.
• Fluent English.
