Finance Controller – Berlin

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Finance Controller to support day‑to‑day financial operations of our fast‑growing renewable energy business in Germany. The role will work closely with the Senior Finance Manager and act as the operational finance counterpart to the headquarters in Spain, providing detailed financial reporting and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports and support controlling activities.
• Perform Excel‑based financial analysis and manage data.
• Manage end‑to‑end invoicing process.
• Coordinate with external accounting and tax advisors.
• Handle operational financial data exchange with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support banking processes, including documentation and preparation of materials.
• Assist with contract‑related financial tracking during development and construction phases.
• Act as a key operational interface with the HQ finance team.

Required profile

• 1–5 years of experience in finance, controlling, or accounting.
• Strong hands‑on mentality with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• German native speaker (mandatory) and good level of English.
• High energy, motivation, and ownership mindset.
• Comfortable in a startup‑like environment and willing to roll up sleeves.
• Fast learner able to pick up new concepts quickly.
