Finance & Controlling Specialist – Facility Management & Real Estate

About the role

The FMRE Controller links the Finance community with the Facility Management and Real Estate business, working closely with Asset & Cost Accounting, Procurement, Central Reporting and international controlling teams across Germany, France, Spain and the UK. Embedded in the Ottobrunn site, the role ensures finance processes support the FMRE operations efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Administer FM costs and support financial processes such as requisitions, purchase orders and asset capitalization.
• Project controlling for CapEx and OpEx FMRE projects, tracking portfolio cost, schedule and coordinating with internal and external customers.
• Develop financial calculations for business cases ranging from minor investments to major site expansions.
• Consolidate FMRE CapEx investments across Germany, France, Spain and the UK and interact with Group and Division finance.
• Prepare operating plan, budget and forecast for FM in close collaboration with the Head of FM and other functions.
• Control Real Estate entities to ensure sustainable contribution to overall results.
• Oversee procurement processes across company codes and monitor budget adherence.
• Execute headcount controlling for the German perimeter and support ad‑hoc requests and strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Extensive knowledge in finance and business controlling.
• Proven experience in business case modelling and creation.
• Degree in Business Administration, Economics or comparable commercial training.
• Strong affinity for numbers, excellent data analysis skills and understanding of complex planning and reporting structures.
• High initiative, dedication and an independent, solution‑oriented working style.
• Ability to communicate effectively with top management and fluency in German and English.
