Finance Director, EMEA

About the role

Collectors is expanding its operations to Germany and is looking for a Finance Director to lead the financial function for the German subsidiary. This senior position will own the end‑to‑end accounting process, ensure accurate reporting, and support the company’s growth across the EMEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle for the German entity, including month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close.
• Prepare and deliver consolidation‑ready financial results to Corporate Accounting, handling multi‑currency translation and intercompany eliminations.
• Oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance and regulatory filings in Germany.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls and accounting policies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Extensive experience in accounting and financial reporting, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of German GAAP and IFRS.
• Proven ability to lead a finance team and manage complex reporting requirements.
