Finance Manager (f/m/d)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, tech‑savvy Finance Manager to lead our core finance operations. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will ensure the smooth running of accounts payable, expense management and billing support while contributing to reporting, forecasting and budgeting cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and expense management using modern finance tools.
• Partner with all departments, especially Supply Chain, to align invoices with purchase orders.
• Optimize payment runs and liquidity management for efficiency and accuracy.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing for German and US entities and act as a point of contact for external auditors.
• Contribute to monthly financial reporting, variance analysis and forecasting.
• Assist in the annual budgeting cycle and act as a finance business partner for selected departments.
• Coordinate billing processes for hardware products and services with the commercial team.
• Drive AI‑based process optimisations to automate recurring tasks and maintain master‑data integrity.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting or audit, preferably in a fast‑paced tech environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate financial information to non‑finance stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of German GAAP (HGB); exposure to IFRS or US GAAP is a plus.
• Fluent in German and English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets.
• Hands‑on experience with modern finance software such as Abacum.
• Hands‑on experience with MS Dynamics.
