Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead our finance department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations while collaborating closely with other functions. You will drive continuous improvement of procedures and support the company’s growth in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with HGB and IFRS.
• Reconcile general‑ledger accounts and execute end‑of‑month entries (accruals, prepaid expenses).
• Manage inventory accounting and related implications.
• Oversee invoicing, dunning, aged debtor management and account reconciliation.
• Maintain financial system integrity and support SAP and other IT system enhancements.
• Develop the annual budget, conduct budget reviews and perform controlling activities.
• Plan cash flow, release payment runs and act as primary contact for banks, auditors and tax advisors.
• Prepare VAT and statistical reports.

Required profile

• Pro‑active, problem‑solver with strong organisational skills.
• High attention to detail and excellent time‑management abilities.
• Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing or a Big Four audit firm.
• Fluent in English and German.
