Financial Analyst, Operations Finance

About the role

You will support Amazon's Fulfillment Center network, analysing financial data to drive improvements, reduce costs and enhance profitability across fast‑moving inventory operations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, analyse and manage quantitative financial data to produce meaningful reports.
• Identify root causes of process or finance issues and recommend cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Develop and maintain weekly and monthly financial metrics, forecasts and reporting models.
• Innovate reporting deliverables to improve accessibility and timeliness.
• Collaborate with data providers and technology teams to ensure accurate, automated financial decision data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Experience in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and interpreting financial results.
• Background in commercial finance business partnering or FP&A.
• Preferred: experience with advanced Excel modelling, Power BI, Python, SQL or Tableau, and exposure to manufacturing, logistics or distribution‑center finance.
