Financial Controller

About the role

ASBIS is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead and coordinate all financial activities in Germany. You will ensure compliance, drive accurate reporting, and provide strategic financial insights that support the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies and procedures.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives.
• Monitor cash flow and manage liquidity for operational needs.
• Assess and mitigate financial risks.
• Provide strategic financial recommendations to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Finance Controller, Senior Accountant, or in a similar senior finance role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and leadership abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
