Financial Controller (m/f/d)

About the role

As a Financial Controller (m/f/d) at SAP Fioneer, you will act as a strategic partner in financial steering and performance management. You will enable data‑driven decisions by delivering complex financial analyses and providing forward‑looking recommendations to senior leadership and operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end profit and loss closing and ensure accurate reporting.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business decisions.
• Optimize and stabilize controlling processes to improve efficiency and data integrity.
• Own planning and reporting cycles, turning data into actionable insights.
• Collaborate with business units to align financial performance with corporate objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Controlling, or Business Administration with excellent grades.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in controlling, preferably project or business controlling.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret numbers and data.
• Fluent communication skills in German and English.
• Adaptable, proactive attitude suited for a fast‑paced, startup‑like environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
