Fleet Manager – Tanker Fleet

About the role

Lead a team of Vessel Managers across our tanker fleet and build the operational backbone of a fast‑growing third‑party ship manager trusted by an international client base.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Vessel Managers to ensure safe, reliable and cost‑efficient tanker operations.
• Ensure compliance with national and international regulations and certifications such as ISO 9001/14001, TMSA and OCIMF/SIRE.
• Manage daily fleet operations, budgeting and cost control while driving continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Promote digitalisation and data‑driven HSEQ performance across the fleet.
• Represent the company to clients, partners and service providers.

Required profile

• Degree in a technical or business discipline (e.g., nautical science, marine engineering, business administration).
• Minimum 10 years of maritime experience, including technical ship management and tanker operations.
• Proven leadership and people‑management capabilities in complex operational environments.
• Strong communication, presentation and customer‑focus skills.
• Strategic mindset with ability to make decisions under pressure.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Familiarity with TMSA and OCIMF/SIRE certification requirements.
