Food Server

About the role

The Food Server position at Café Buur in Frankfurt is a part‑time, on‑site role focused on delivering a warm and efficient dining experience for guests. You will be the first point of contact, guiding customers through the menu, taking orders, and ensuring timely service in a vibrant brunch environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus and answer questions about dishes and dietary requirements.
• Accurately record orders and serve food and beverages promptly.
• Maintain clean, well‑set tables and coordinate with the bar and kitchen teams for smooth service flow.
• Process payments, issue receipts and handle cash or card transactions.
• Uphold Café Buur’s brand standards, hygiene and safety protocols throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliability, punctuality and a collaborative mindset.
• Proficiency in German; English is a plus for international guests.

Required skills
