Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a founding Forward Deployed Engineer to join our early‑stage team and drive the adoption of Finto’s AI‑powered automation within large enterprises. In this customer‑facing technical role you will partner with finance teams to embed AI into daily workflows, reducing manual effort and boosting productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead enterprise customers from contract signing through full‑scale adoption, ensuring successful rollout and expansion.
• Collaborate with finance teams to redesign critical processes and embed AI where it adds the most value.
• Deeply understand customers’ ERP environments, data structures, and accounting workflows to tailor solutions.
• Act as the bridge between customers and the engineering team, gathering requirements and translating feedback into product insights.
• Analyze AI performance using evaluation metrics, leveraging strong SQL skills to work with complex customer data.
• Develop playbooks, onboarding frameworks, and training materials to scale customer success.

Required profile

• 2‑3+ years in solution engineering, consulting, or forward‑deployed engineering with enterprise customers.
• Experience driving adoption of complex software, preferably AI‑powered or automation platforms.
• Familiarity with finance operations, APIs, ERP systems, or accounting workflows is a strong plus.
• Exceptional communication skills and proven ability to lead change‑management initiatives.
• Hands‑on problem‑solver with a proactive, can‑do attitude.
• Thrives in fast‑paced, early‑stage environments with high autonomy.
