Founding Customer Support Engineer

About the role

As the Founding Customer Support Engineer you will own post‑go‑live support, ensuring integrations run smoothly and customers keep using comstruct daily. You will troubleshoot issues end‑to‑end, work with engineering on fixes, and act as the voice of the customer.

Key responsibilities

• Own inquiries end‑to‑end, diagnosing integration breaks, data flow issues, and API problems.
• Automate support using internal AI agents and decide which parts can be handled automatically.
• Ship small fixes (PRs, config changes, scripts) after review by engineering.
• Identify recurring issue patterns, present evidence to Product Engineering, and drive elimination of ticket classes.
• Build the support foundation: playbooks, macros, help centre, internal runbooks.
• Report metrics such as time to first response, resolution time, and recurring issue reduction.

Required profile

• 1–2 years in a technical, customer‑facing role (Customer Success, Support Engineer, Solution Engineer, TAM, etc.).
• Comfortable with APIs, logs, SQL and data flows; able to debug across systems you didn’t build.
• Ability to explain technical issues to both engineers and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Willing to work five days a week onsite in Munich, with occasional customer travel.
• Native German speaker and fluent English.
