FP&A Specialist

About the role

Solaris, Europe’s leading embedded finance platform, is seeking an FP&A Specialist to become the financial engine behind its Planning & Controlling function. You will shape financial narratives, analyse unit economics and act as a strategic partner to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the annual budget and multi‑year business plan cycles, ensuring cross‑functional alignment and challenging assumptions.
• Produce executive‑ready monthly performance packs and translate complex data into clear insights for the CFO, CEO and Management Board.
• Build and maintain integrated financial models covering P&L, balance sheet and capital dynamics, including scenario analysis against regulatory constraints.
• Analyse contribution margins, transaction processing, vendor spend and cost‑to‑serve metrics to optimise gross margin.
• Partner with functional leads (Tech, Commercial, Operations, Risk) to provide financial guidance on strategic initiatives, pricing and partner onboarding.
• Ensure accurate cost allocations and help design audit‑ready financial processes in a regulated environment.

Required profile

• 5‑6 years of relevant experience in banking, fintech, strategy consulting, investment banking or data‑driven finance roles.
• Academic background in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related field.
• Proven ability to create structured financial models, dashboards and management‑ready presentations.
