Freelance Journal Selection & Pre‑Submission Peer Reviewer (Emergency Medicine)

About the role

We are looking for experienced researchers and journal editors to join us on a freelance basis as Journal Selection and Pre‑Submission Peer Reviewers for emergency‑medicine manuscripts. The role involves evaluating manuscripts before they are submitted to journals and providing detailed feedback to authors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide peer‑review‑style comments on submitted manuscripts.
• Identify areas for improvement and assess the manuscript’s readiness for publication.
• Prepare a comprehensive assessment report with recommendations.
• Deliver all reports within the agreed client deadlines.

Required profile

• Prior experience as an invited peer reviewer for a journal or as a journal editor (mandatory).
• At least ten published manuscripts as author or co‑author (mandatory).
• PhD or MD in a relevant field such as Surgery, Education, Ophthalmology, Clinical Oncology, Theoretical Physics, Theology, Philosophy, Musculoskeletal Medicine, Reproductive Medicine, Pediatrics, Sociology, Linguistics, Design, Anesthesiology, or related specialties (mandatory).
