Freelance Mobile Platform Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Freelance Mobile Platform Engineer to shape and maintain the core of our Flutter mobile foundation. The role focuses on shared components, design system, architecture, performance and tooling, while also contributing to AI integration and developer experience across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the shared Flutter components, design system, performance optimisation and tooling.
• Define and guide architecture patterns, state management and backend integration for product teams.
• Improve end‑to‑end developer workflow, including CI/CD pipelines, store distribution and release management.
• Integrate AI tooling into the codebase and help determine its role in the product.
• Maintain and ensure reliability of the existing mobile foundation while delivering new features.

Required profile

• Several years of experience delivering production software at scale, preferably with responsibility for mobile application architecture.
• Strong multi‑year experience building mobile apps with Flutter and Dart.
• Solid mobile DevOps experience covering CI/CD, store distribution and release management.
• Genuine interest in AI as an engineering discipline and curiosity about agents.
• Preference for improving systems that reduce friction for other teams.
